This is the singing and dancing story of the beginning of Japanese mythology,'IZANAMI' from 'New Translation Kojiki series' art performance.
Female god, Izanami and male god, Izanagi have given birth to Japan by their marriage.
This story told from the perspective of Izanami. Her life was filled with love and joy, and death and sorrow....
Why did she have to die? Why did she curse Izanami, the one she loved?

Japanese mythology as written in the first volume of ""Kojiki"".
By focusing on the emotions of the gods, I want you to feel more familiar, more real and more deeply about this magnificent ancient tale with its many gods and goddesses. 
Because Japanese gods still live in Japan today.
This is why I create 'New Translation KOJIKI' series.

神さまの感情に焦点をあてることで、もっと身近に、もっとリアルに、もっと深く、感じてもらいたい。
なぜなら、日本神話の神さまたちは今もこの世界に息づいているから。
そんな想いで「新訳古事記」シリーズを作っています。
